Important Information Below Regarding Your Dental Insurance.
Dear Patient,
We would like to inform you of a significant change in our office. Beginning February 1, 2021, we will no longer write the difference off between the insurance fees and our fees for preventative and diagnostic services if the plan is out-of-network or a PPO plan. This change will include all insurances, excluding the Murphy Dental Discount Plan.
We advise you to review your current insurance coverage with our office prior to any upcoming appointments.
There are several ways in which we can work with patients in these circumstances. Please contact our office to discuss the specifics.
Due to the careful analysis of the rise in cost for providing dental care over recent years, and the complexity of insurance, we have decided to implement these changes.
We believe that our practice, patients, area employers, and even health plans will benefit from the steps that we are taking toward a more efficient and straightforward process in handling insurance issues. In other words, our changes should provide a win-win for all parties in the long run.
We recognize that individual benefit plans and circumstances differ and that questions will remain. We ask that you direct your questions to our front desk staff prior to your appointment, who will be happy to assist you.
