How Cherry Works
Cherry provides a payment plan system that allows you to finance purchases without impacting your credit score by means of a soft credit check. The application process is straightforward and quick, offering immediate approval results, which show the approved amount and available payment plan options.
The Eligibility and Approval Process
Once approved, the checkout process is conducted in person, and customers can select from flexible payment terms ranging from 3 to 60 months, with some plans offering 0% APR.
Eligibility
Eligibility requirements include being over 18 years old, possessing a US bank-issued credit or debit card for the initial down payment, and using similar payment methods or ACH for subsequent payments. In some cases we may need additional borrower information that might to finalize your approval amounts.
Portal
To make things easier for you to navigate, the Cherry Patient Portal allows you to manage your payments and view your payment history, and adjust settings such as autopay. The first payment’s due date after an initial purchase can be viewed and managed through the Cherry Patient Portal, where autopay settings can also be adjusted.
Use of Approved Funds
Rather than having to go through another approval process, if the full approved amount is not used initially, you can use the remaining balance later as long as the account remains in good standing and within the approval period, typically at least 30 days. Note that approval periods and the exact terms of payment plans may vary, but all approvals are valid for at least 30 days.
