Family Day at the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art
April 6th, 10:00 am-12:00 pm

This is a FREE monthly event for the entire family, but geared toward children ages 5-12. Participate in a variety of art activities and take a look around at the beautiful exhibits throughout the museum.
GAMA is located at 1400 Remington Street on the first floor of the University Center for the Arts on the CSU campus.

Spring Artisan Market
April 13th, 10:00 am-4:00 pm

This FREE event will take place at the Ft. Collins Senior Center, located at 1200 Raintree Drive.
More than 50 artisans from all over the Front Range will present their handmade crafts for sale. Help support them in their endeavors and purchase some beautiful keepsake treasures.

14th Annual Earth Day
April 20th, 11:00 am-5:00 pm

This is a FREE family event in Civic Center Park to celebrate our precious Earth and spread the word about all that is needed to help combat the climate crisis and work toward a zero-carbon future.
Event will include informational booths, arts & crafts and other kids activities, speakers, yoga, live music, food trucks, and a beer garden. This is an important event and should not be missed! If you are inclined to volunteer, your time will be most appreciated, plus you’ll receive a free commemorative t-shirt as a thank you.
Food donations are requested for the Food Bank of Larimer County.

The Mountain Goats
April 15th, 7:00-11:00 pm

The Mountain Goats is an American band that was founded in Claremont, California in 1991 by singer/songwriter, John Darnielle. The band, characterized by their simple instrumentation and autobiographical lyrics, will be performing at Washington’s in Ft. Collins, located at 132 Laporte Avenue. Annie
April 26th-28th (Show times vary)

Come on down to Lincoln Center in downtown Ft. Collins for an enchanting performance of the beloved musical, Annie, where you can experience the heartwarming journey of Little Orphan Annie. Witness her transformation from a humble orphanage to a luxurious new home with her adoptive father, the wealthy billionaire, Oliver Warbucks…with a lot of wacky adventures in between! This sensational show is an absolute must-see for the entire family!

Ft. Collins Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Celebration
April 10th, 5:30 pm-7:30 pm

The Chamber of Commerce in Ft. Collins will hold their annual celebration at the Ranch Events Center in neighboring Loveland to honor local businesses and individuals who have had a positive impact on the community. Several different awards will be presented, so join other Chamber members and help celebrate these wonderful accomplishments.
The Ranch Events Center is located at 5280 Arena Circle.

St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
March 17th, 1:00 pm-8:00 pm

Come out and celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in style with green drinks, food, live music, and time spent with friends, family, neighbors, and your community while meandering from one lively venue to another. You must be 21 and over to participate!
Meeting spot will be at the High Point Bar, located at 146 N. College Avenue, where you will receive your wristband. Included with your wristband will be 2-3 drinks or shots, entry to all celebratory Leprechaun Lounges, delectable munchies, costume contest, digital treasure map, and so much more.
You won’t want to miss this and be sure to WEAR GREEN!

Music & Munchies
March 1st, 9:10 pm-10:00 am

This event is designed for families with children ages 0-5 to enjoy some music and movement, as well as social time with other families. Each segment will be 25 minutes long and will include snacks.
Location will be at the Foundation Music School, 3663 S. College Avenue.
Cost for the first child is $15 and $3 for each additional child. Parents are FREE.

Composting Class
March 2nd, 10:00 am

Come and be a part of the workshop being offered at the Bath Garden Center & Nursery in Ft. Collins where you will learn all about the composting process. This class will also include information on vermicomposting and creating homemade compost tea!
Incorporating composting into your gardening routine can have a significant impact on the overall well-being of your soil, enhancing nutrient availability to your plants, improving drainage and aeration, fostering the growth of beneficial insects, as well as numerous other benefits.

Bluegrass Jam
March 10th, 2:00 pm-4:00 pm

Come on and join this month’s beginner and intermediate bluegrass jam at Avogadro’s Number in Ft. Collins. No need to be an instrument pro, but feel free to take the lead, sing some harmony, or strum a few chords together. Lead sheets and a music library with a bunch of favorite classic bluegrass songs will be provided.

An additional bluegrass jam is scheduled for March 24th.

Paint Your Pet!
March 16th, 2:00 pm-5:00 pm

If you are like most people, your pets are an important and much loved member of the family. What better way to honor them than by painting a portrait of your favorite photo and proudly hanging it in your home!
Painting with a Twist, located in Ft. Collins at 1112 Oakridge Dr, #107, will be hosting a painting event for participants ages 15 and above to create your very own precious keepsake, while learning a variety of painting techniques, and, most of all, HAVING FUN.

Advance registration is required and pet photos must be submitted by Wednesday prior to the event. A sketch of your pet along with a recommended paint palette will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Colorado State Rams vs. San Diego State Aztecs
February 3rd, 1:00 pm

What better way to spend a cold winter afternoon than attending an exciting women’s basketball game at the Moby Arena! Come cheer on your CSU Rams as they play for a win against the visiting San Diego State Aztecs.
Come dressed in your Ram gear and show some school spirit!

Steely Dead
February 9th, 8:00 pm

Steely Dead, a fusion of iconic rock bands, Steely Dan and the Grateful Dead, will be performing at the Aggie Theatre in Ft. Collins. There are limited tickets still available so grab them while you can… both GA standing and seated sections.
Currently on a nationwide tour, Steely Dead has a loyal fan base that follows them from destination to destination, creating an atmosphere of not just masterful music, but also one of community and lasting memories. The merging of songs between these two bands, with original segues in between, will take audiences on an epic and nostalgic musical journey.

Coffee & Conversations with CSU College of Business
February 10th, 8:30 am- 10:00 am

Enjoy coffee and pastries at Lima Coffee Roasters, located at 4229 S. Mason Street, and learn about the various MBA and business programs currently offered at Colorado State University.
This will be a very low key event with no formal presentations. College representatives will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the admissions process, course offerings, and the necessary next steps to take that will lead to your career development and advancement.
No advance registration is necessary.

Bluegrass Jam
February 11th, 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm

Avogadro’s Number, located at 605 S. Mason Street in Ft. Collins, will be hosting a bluegrass jam session most Sundays for beginner and intermediate musicians. Come with your instrument and play along at whatever level you’re comfortable with. Be a lead singer or provide backup harmony…everyone welcome!
The music library will include mostly bluegrass, with a few other genres mixed in. Lead sheets will be provided with lyrics and chords.

Thurgood
February 24th, 7:30 pm

Lincoln Center in downtown Ft. Collins will be honoring Black History Month by offering an inspirational play about the extraordinary life of Thurgood Marshall, the Supreme Court’s first African American justice.
Since its stage debut in 2019, Thurgood has shined a light on the struggles of African Americans throughout history and how they were able to overcome some of the restricting challenges related to segregation in schools, public transportation, eating establishments, and the military, while also highlighting their remarkable achievements and major contributions to society, specifically the naming of the first African American to the highest court in the land.
There is some adult language and themes so it is recommended for audiences that are ages 11 and up.
Regular ticket prices are $25; $20 for seniors; $15 for students and children 12 and under.

Coffee Tasting

Calling all coffee lovers! Come to this delectable coffee tasting event and experience a variety of different blends from all around the world.

An Evening with Leftover Salmon
January 25th, 8:00 pm

This will be an event to remember… Washington’s, located at 132 Laporte Avenue in Ft. Collins, will be hosting the legendary and progressive band, Leftover Salmon, who will perform songs from their 30+ year career, including ones from their most recent album that was released in 2021, Brand New Good Old Days.
Formed in 1989 in Boulder, Colorado, Leftover Salmon has performed a mixture of music that transcends the genres of bluegrass, country rock, Cajun and Zydeco with seven studio albums and three live albums.

Peter & The Wolf - Family Concert
January 21st, 4:00-5:00 pm

The Fort Collins Symphony and Canyon Concert Ballet will collaborate to present a marvelous rendition of Peter & the Wolf at the Timberline Church Auditorium, located at 2908 S. Timberline Avenue in Ft. Collins. This presentation will last one hour and is suitable for audiences of all ages.
Ticket price is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

Polar Bear Run & Plunge
January 20th, 10:00 am (Race start) 11:00-1:00 (Plunge)

Take part in a fun 5k race around Horsetooth Reservoir and, if you’re courageous, conclude with an icy cold plunge into the water afterwards to awaken all of your senses. Enjoy beautiful views of the Colorado foothills on this out and back dirt trail.
The race will begin and end at the pavilion at the South Inlet Bay Swim Beach in Ft. Collins. Awards will be presented to the top runners in each age category.
Race registration includes a custom Polar Bear 5k hooded sweatshirt, 1-day park pass, as well as food & beverages.

December, 2023 Calendar

The Nutcracker December 7th-10th

The holidays are right around the corner and so are the annual performances of the legendary “Nutcracker” to help put you in the Christmas spirit. A classical ballet presented in two parts, this Tchaikovsky masterpiece takes place on Christmas Eve and focuses on a little girl named Clara and her magical Christmas toys who come to life. Join Clara and her extraordinary nutcracker as they travel to the Land of Sweets where they meet the Sugar Plum Fairy. It is a story that is sure to enchant people of all ages.

Colorado State Rams vs. St. Mary’s Gaels December 9th, 4:00 pm

If you’re looking for an alternative to pre-holiday festivities and shopping, consider attending a men’s basketball game at the Moby Arena in Ft. Collins. Watch the CSU Rams take on the Gaels from St. Mary’s College in California.

Macy Gray in Concert December 9th, 8:00 pm (Doors open at 7)

Singer/Songwriter/Actress, Macy Gray, will be performing at Washington’s in Ft. Collins for a night of unforgettable songs from her new album, The Reset. With 11 new songs, fans will have an opportunity to hear a multitude of Gray’s vocal and musical talents.
All ages are welcome. Opening act is currently TBD.

Holiday Open House & Boutique December 9th-10th

Historic Avery House, built in 1879, was saved from demolition in the 1970’s by the Poudre Landmarks Foundation and has since been preserved, restored, and maintained as a museum to give visitors a gateway into the past.
During the second weekend in December, Avery House will be fully decorated for the Christmas season with a Victorian Christmas tree. Enjoy live music, holiday shopping, and delicious baked goods for sale.

Garden of Lights Winter Holiday Festival December 8th-23rd, 5:00 pm-9:00 pm

This is a holiday tradition that the residents of Northern Colorado enjoy year after year at the Gardens on Spring Creek, located at 2145 Centre Avenue in Ft. Collins. Festivities include a half-mile winter wonderland loop around the gardens while soaking in the radiance of thousands of glittering lights throughout a display of colorful blossoms, flowerbeds, grapevines, and more.
In addition to festive drinks available for purchase, Santa will be on hand to visit with revelers, as well as the Sugar Plum Furries dog troupe.
Tickets are non-refundable and will go on sale on November 2nd at noon. Members will receive a 20% discount. Adults and children 12+ are $10; children 5-11 are $5 and children 4 and under are FREE.

Big Head Todd & The Monsters November 24th & 25th, 8:00 pm

Recording and performing together since the 1980’s, Big Head Todd & The Monsters began as a group of friends jamming in a basement and then eventually moved on to house parties and the bar circuit before achieving worldwide success.
Washington’s, located at 132 Laporte Avenue in Ft. Collins, will be the location for a two night stopover on their national tour.

Loveland Reptile Expo
November 11th & 12th

Reptiles, Amphibians and Exotic Mammals will be on display at the 2023 Show Me Reptile Show taking place at the Ranch Events Complex in neighboring Loveland.
General Admissions entry will be from 10:00 am-3:30 pm each day. Reptiles After Dark will occur on Saturday, 11/12 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. All ages are welcome!
50% off admission for Teachers, Military, and First Responders. Kids 12 and under are FREE.

Girls on the Run 5k
November 5th, 10:00 am (Girls arrive at 9:00 am)

Girls on the Run is an organization that encourages young girls who are in 3rd to 8th grade to recognize and refine their strengths through active team building exercises. The coaches are all volunteers who work on incorporating physical activity with the development of important life skills.
At the end of the season, a 5k is done together to celebrate each member’s accomplishments during the previous months. This year’s non-competitive race will take place in Spring Canyon Park on Horsetooth Road in Ft. Collins.

October, 2023 Calendar

Longview Marathon
October 14th, 7:30 am-2:00 pm

The Longview marathon will begin in Edora Park in Ft. Collins and end in Fairgrounds Park in Loveland. There will also be a half marathon and a 5K that will include a scenic race course with beautiful views of the mountains along the Front Range.

Moon Hooch
October 7th, 8:00pm

Moon Hooch has transcended from their humble beginnings on NYC subway platforms to touring with groups, such as They Might Be Giants and Lotus, as well as now performing to sold out audiences of their own. They produce music with horns and percussion, as well as incorporating random objects attached to their instruments to produce more unique sounds. Their use of electroacoustic techniques, Moog synthesizers, and exotic woodwinds have broken musical barriers.

9th Annual Tour de Corgi
October 7th, 9:00 am-2:30 pm

You will not want to miss this parade of cuteness as they do their corgi shuffle through Old Town Ft. Collins. The parade, which will begin at noon in Civic Center Park, will be preceded by a costume contest, a corgi meetup and vendor booths beginning at 9 am.
Proceeds from this event will benefit a variety of charities, including 4 Paws Pet Pantry, Bandit’s K9Care, Colorado Corgi and Friends Rescue and Wyoming Dachshund and Corgi Rescue.
Wristbands are required in order for adults to participate in the costume contest and  parade. Additional information can be found on their website

Story Time: Smash! Mash! Crash! There Goes the Trash
October 3rd-6th, 10:30 am-11:30 am

Who isn’t fascinated by a big garbage truck when you’re a small child? This is an event geared toward children ages 2-6 and will take place at the Larimer County Garbage Garage Education Center, located at 5887 South Taft Hill Road in Ft. Collins.

Storytime will begin at 10:45 am followed by a fun garbage truck related activity using reuse instruments in order to make the many sounds that you hear on garbage pick-up day. Don’t miss out on this engaging and educational event!

Colorado State Rams Women's Volleyball vs. Bowling Green Falcons
September 7th, 1:00 pm

Tickets are on sale for this event at the Moby Arena, located at 951 W. Plum Street on the CSU campus. Bring family and friends and show your support for the Women Rams!

Africa Drum & Dance Performance
September 1st, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm

This is a FREE concert that will be performed by the Fale performance group of the African Drum & Dance Collective of Ft. Collins and will take place at the Global Village Museum of Arts & Cultures, located at 200 West Mountain Avenue.
In the Susu language of the African nation of Guinea, Fale means “bridge” which, in this case, refers to a bridge that helps bring people of the world together. This performance group choreographs and performs traditional African dances around Ft. Collins and it is composed of a group of volunteers.

Black Squirrel Half Marathon
September 9th, 7:00 am

This challenging, but very scenic, race course will take place in beautiful Lory State Park, located just to the northeast of Ft. Collins. Enjoy views of Horsetooth Reservoir, the peaks of the Rocky Mountains, as well as the Great Plains.
Average elevation throughout the race will be approximately 6,100 feet on dirt terrain. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to run past various wildlife, such as black abert squirrels, among others!

Walk to End Alzheimer’s
September 23rd, 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Join in this annual event to honor or remember someone you know who has been affected by dementia and help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association so they can continue their efforts to provide care and support, as well as continuing with crucial research which can hopefully one day lead to a cure for this debilitating and deadly disease.
The route will take place at the Canvas Stadium (North End Zone) at Colorado State University, located at 751 W. Pitkin Street, and will be 1.5 miles. There will be a shorter route as well which will be 0.6 miles.
The walk will take place rain or shine immediately following the Promise Garden Ceremony.

WAR in Concert
September 23rd, 6:00 pm

You may smile as you remember songs, such as “Why Can’t We Be Friends,” “Low Rider,” and “The Cisco Kid,” that bring back fond memories from years past. The band, WAR, has music that spans over five decades with more than 50 million records sold throughout the world.
Come down to the Gardens on Spring Creek, located at 2145 Centre Avenue in Ft. Collins, and sing along to some of these blockbuster hit songs. All ages are welcome.
Seating is first-come, first-served. Feel free to bring your own chairs and be prepared for all weather events as the concert will go on rain or shine.

Poudre River Fest
August 12th, 12:00 pm-6:00 pm

The Poudre RiverFest returns on August 12, 2023! Join us at New Belgium from Noon – 6 p.m. to celebrate the Poudre River! The Poudre RiverFest is a free, family-friendly festival that celebrates the Poudre River, promotes restoration, and educates people about our river corridor, an important natural resource in our community. The festival features activities for children and adults to explore the role of the river as an important habitat for wildlife, a lively recreation area, and a source for clean drinking water. Come out for live music, beer, and food! The festival will also feature local exhibitors and family-friendly activities. Learn more at Poudreriverfest.org. See you there!

Ft. Collins Art Festival
August 5th (11:00 am-7:00 pm) - 6th (11:00 am-6:00 pm)

Located in Old Town Square in downtown Ft. Collins, this FREE annual festival, focused on the display and sale of visual and handmade goods, is a favorite among people all across Northern Colorado. In addition to paintings, sculptures, glassware, ceramics, woodwork, and photography, attendees can enjoy live music and an overall great time visiting with artists, friends, and neighbors.
Specific location for this event will be the pedestrian area on Linden Street between Walnut and Jefferson Streets.

Ft. Collins Peach Festival
August 19th, 10:00 am-5:00 pm

This has always been considered a fun filled event in downtown Civic Center Park. Enjoy live music, food trucks, local beer, and street vendors.

Rocky Mountain Irish Gathering
August 11th-13th, 10:00 am-10:30 pm each day

This year’s event will feature special guests, the McTeggart Irish Dancers, in addition to a host of talented traditional and contemporary Irish musical performances from bands throughout the Front Range and overseas. Cultural exhibits and Irish storytelling will add another dimension to an event that is guaranteed to entertain people of all ages!
Be sure to participate in the drawing to win an enchanting trip for two to Dublin for St. Patrick’s Day in 2024!

Colorado State Rams Women’s Volleyball vs. Kentucky Wildcats
August 25th, 7:00 pm

Comic Con 2023
August 26th-27th, 9:00 am-6:00 pm

Comic Con was initially created to give residents of Northern Colorado a closer venue to participate in an event that promotes youth literacy through comic books and other mediums, while bringing together people of all ages that are self proclaimed geeks, gamers, artists, writers, creators, and more.
$120,000 has been donated through this event over the past five years which, in turn, is used to benefit the Poudre River Public Library District.

More than 150 vendors will be present this year which will take place at the Northside Aztlan Community Center, located at 112 E. Willow Street in Ft. Collins.

July, 2023 Calendar

Firekracker 5k Run/Walk
July 4th, 7:30 am

People of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate in this fun event to celebrate our nation’s independence. There will be a 5k, as well as a 1-mile kid’s race, looping around the level terrain of City Park in downtown Ft. Collins.

Enjoy an Independence Day Parade after the race that will begin at Howes Street and will continue on Mountain Avenue to City Park starting at 10:00 am.

Rocky Mountain Antique Festival
July 8th, 9:00 am -July 9th, 4:00 pm

The Ranch Events Complex in neighboring Loveland will host antique dealers from 12 different states for this event that is potentially expected to attract up to 20,000 visitors.
Authentic antiques of all different types, such as toys, pottery, jewelry, glassware, and furniture, will be available for purchase.

Goat Yoga
July 9th, Lesson 1: 9:00 am-10 am; Lesson 2: 11:00 am-12:00 pm

Yes, you’re reading this correctly…this is a yoga class that will feature a 45 minute lesson followed by a 15 minute decompression for both humans and goats. If you haven’t attended one of these classes then it is time for you to head on down to the Foothills Shopping Mall and take advantage of this opportunity to relax, stretch and pet and hold a bunch of adorable goats. All ages are welcome!

The goat enclosure will be located in the outdoor event space near Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar. Don’t forget to bring a camera!

10th Annual Kawasaki Classic Golf Tournament
July 17th, 9:00 am

This premier golf tournament will donate all proceeds to the Kawasaki Kids Foundation to help spread awareness and fund critical research at Children’s Hospital Colorado for this rare disease that primarily affects infants and young children.

Location for the event will be at the Ptarmigan Country Club at 5416 Vardon Way in Ft. Collins. Come on down and enjoy music, food trucks, an appearance from World Long Drive Champion, Fast Eddie Fernandez, and help raise money to combat a devastating heart disease that affects between 9 and 20 children out of 100,000 each year.

Father’s Day 5K
June 18th, 8:00 am

This is a race through the streets of midtown Ft. Collins to celebrate DADS…whether you are a dad yourself, running or walking with your dad, or joining the race in memory of a special dad, all are welcome! There will be a Kid’s 1-mile race in addition to the 5k.
Start and finish line will be in front of Foothills Mall East Lawn & Cinemark Movie Bistro. Baby strollers and dogs are welcome on the race course and a water station will be located at approximately the 1.5 mile mark.

Colorado Marathon
May 7th, 6:30 & 7:00 am

This annual marathon used to be known as the “Fort Collins Old Town Marathon”. The race will consist of a marathon, half marathon, 10k, 5k, and relay along one of America’s most scenic courses in the Poudre River Canyon. Enjoy a slight downhill decline for a majority of the race.
The Colorado Marathon typically qualifies between 16-18% of participants for the Boston Marathon.

“Escape to Hope” - Colorado Symphony

Mozart Requiem

The Laudamus Chamber Chorale, along with the Colorado State University Chamber and Concert Choirs, will be presenting Mozart’s Requiem, a masterpiece completed by the composer’s wife after his death in 1791. The orchestra will consist of musicians from all across the Front Range for a piece that has been revered universally with multiple performances around the world.
