Basic Service – When it comes other procedures like oral surgery – including root canals – Blue Cross and Blue Shield dental insurance will typically cover around 80% of the overall procedure cost
Major Services – Other services are classified as “major” and Blue Cross and Blue Shield dental insurance will typically cover about 50% of procedures that fall under this “major” category. Major procedures may include restorative dental procedures like dental crowns (among many other procedures).
