As long as we have your current dental insurance provider on file and updated, we will thoroughly walk you through your dental benefits towards any recommended dental treatment and provide you our best estimate based on your dental insurance plan.
What Ameritas Covers (This May Vary - Call for Current Details)
Preventative Treatments
Co-Insurance is usually 100% covered by Ameritas for most dental insurance plans. This would include free diagnostic and preventive services such as dental cleaning, x rays, and exams.
Basic Restorative Treatments
If more services are needed the average typical insurance will cover 80% of restorative services such as fillings, cavities, amalgams, composite fillings, crown build ups and various tooth restorative codes, insurance usually classify this as a basic service.
Oral Surgery (Root Canals & Tooth Extraction)
Typical Ameritas insurance dental plans classify root canals at 80% so your portion would only be 20% of the root canal. Oral Surgery is typically classified at 80% for tooth extraction
Major Restorative Dental Procedures
Major services such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, are typically covered at 50%.
